Hello All and Thanks Jim for helping...I was finally able to log-in. Anna, you have such love around you with all of your family, John and your friends and many of John's colleagues. Even though we've not met, I feel as though I have a connection...John helped to build that connection through his kindness and warm being.
I will just throw-out one simple suggestion that I know John was working on with regard to accessibility and it was something he and I had talked about on a number of occasions. John was very interested in the use of Plain Language and trying to assure that those with language issues (at various levels) would be able to access written content and not be blocked-out because the written level was too hard to comprehend for some readers. Mostly, at the time, he was concerned about the readability of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) and I am not sure where that issue might have gone or if it ever made it onto the table. I left WCAG when this issue was still in discussion and by all means, it was not as high on the priority list as were some other issues. But, I know John had a concern about overall content readability.
Maybe others can shed some light on this issue and where John might have stood beyond my own knowledge. I think there were many accessibility issues that John stood for and at some point it may be necessary to go with the heart and realize that anything that is done in John's memory will be totally the right thing.
Love to all of you.
